BioRep facility includes built-in redundant system for the control of critical procedures and equipments, a state of the art alarm systems and remote storage. BioRep has heavily invested in the alarm and monitoring systems which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with high-tech equipment and dedicated, highly trained personnel. Freezer units are equipped with independent  temperature sensors that are connected to our Central Monitoring System, which generates complete temperature status reports. As part of BioRep operating protocol, daily and monthly log reports are used to confirm temperature status and identify trends. Additionally, individual BioRep and customer freezers are systematically validated on an on-going basis with rigorous checks of temperature at multiple locations throughout each freezer. BioRep can provide Sapio Life and Angelantoni cryobiology equipments to ensure the safety of the specimens stored, thanks to the best quality tanks and freezers available on the market
BioRep facility is specifically designed to guarantee the utmost efficiency and security:

• A specific area designed to contain a max of 34 Liquid Nitrogen tanks and 24 - 80°C freezers is devoted to specimen storage, with a remote location for back-up storage.
• Back-up freezers are held in reserve in case of equipment failure.
• Large capacity bulk tanks provide liquid nitrogen on demand via vacuum-insulated piping to LN2 freezers, for an uninterrupted supply.
• Coriell information systems and off-site back-up provide secure, accurate storage of information.
• BSL-2 laboratory facilities are used by BioRep scientists to perform process and service requests
• BL3 and sterile laboratory are also available to process virus samples and or perform Cell expansion
